2026 4th of July Ski/Boat Parade Winners
We had a wonderful ski and boat parade yesterday on Lake Pulaski.
Ski Parade started at noon with 6 participants.
The judging criteria with 10 points possible in each category was:
– Difficulty
– Effort
– Costumes
– Music
– Showmanship
– What was ridden (ie tube,ski, Wakeboard, etc.)
1st Place- The Meyer Family. Adam Meyer, Caspian Meyer, Cory Cole Meyer & Travis Meyer
2nd Place- The Melgaard Family. Larson Melgaard, Gunnar Melgaard, Axel Melgaard, Isabelle Melgaard, Ashlyn Peterson, Avery Lee, Nora Heinz, Vivian Heinz & Brent Heinz.
3rd Place- The Donovan Family. Max Donovan, Parker Donovan, Aiden Wittaker & Thomas Gaisbauer
(These were the names the winners provided and not everyone pictured may be listed).
Boat Parade was at 1:00 with 15 participants. The judging criteria with 10 points possible in each category was:
– Originality of Theme
– Effort/Completeness/Quality
– Boat crew dressed in theme
– Enthusiasm
– Music
– Special Effects
All the judges thought the boats were amazing this year and there was a lot of competition for the top four places. We want to thank all the participants.
1st Place- Toy Story- The Trochman Family
2nd Place- America’s 250th- The Mullen Family (Tammy Mullen, Patty Hinkemeyer, Kelly Griffen & Susie Lommel)
3rd Place- Swiftly Ever After- The Antony Family
4th Place- Delaware or Bust- The Weber Family
