Lake Pulaski LID Board Meeting Minutes
Location, Date & Time: Murphy Co Design, 15 Division St E Buffalo, 03/21/2018 7:00pm
- Attendees: Bill Jundt, Tom Marr, Jill Murphy, and Jon Tank.
- This monthly meeting is held for the Lake Pulaski Improvement District members and is open to the public.
- Meeting was called to order by Jon Tank.
Previous Business:
- Jon Tank made a motion to approve the 11/07/17/ LID minutes. Motion to approve the minutes by Tom Marr, seconded by Bill Jundt. Motion approved.
Old Business:
- Jon Tank provided an update regarding the drainage ponds and the letter Wenck sent to the City of Buffalo on the LID’s behalf. The city did respond stating that they are trying to find the best possible long-term solution for storm water quality efforts for the pond by lake Pulaski and once they come to a determination of the most effective solution, they will contact us. Jon will contact the City to schedule a meeting to discuss.
New Business:
- Jon Tank provided an update regarding AIS Inspectors and has spoken to Lee Ryan with the City of Buffalo regarding staffing for Griffing Park. The City has graciously agreed to continue to help fund the staffing. Jon Tank made a motion to continue using the City of Buffalo for staffing. Motion to approve by Tom Marr, Seconded by Jill Murphy. Motion approved.
- AIS Permits: Tom Marr has been in contact with Lake Restoration regarding permit applications and requirements by the State/DNR. Tom did state that the grant money for curly leaf will be $1,100.00 for 2018. Tom will also contact James Johnson at Fresh Water to schedule a delineation and mapping report.
- Jon Tank did report that James Bedell with the DNR has been named the new permanent Area Hydrologist replacing Roger Stradal.
Financial Update:
- Jill gave an update stating that 2017 ended with positive cash flow from what was budgeted for 2017, and that the LID is in line with the proposed budget approved last August for 2018.
Meeting Adjourned:
- Jon Tank motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:28pm. Tom Marr seconded, motion carried, meeting adjourned.
