LID minutes February 23 2016
Lake Pulaski LID Board Meeting Minutes
Location, Date & Time: Murphy Co Design, 15 Division St E Buffalo, MN 55313. February 23rd, 2016 at 7:00pm.
Attendees: Tom Marr, Jill Murphy, Jon Tank, and Bill Jundt
This monthly meeting is held for the Lake Pulaski Improvement District members and is open to the public.
Meeting was called to order by Jon Tank
Previous Business:
- Jon Tank made a motion to approve the November 11, 2015 LID minutes. Motion to approve the minutes by Tom Marr, seconded by Jill Murphy. Motion approved.
New Business:
- Tom Marr provided an update regarding AIS permits and said that he has not heard anything from Lake Restoration and will follow up with Mike Norton.
- Jon Tank provided an update regarding AIS Inspectors and has spoken to Lee Ryan with the City of Buffalo and they are working on staffing hours for Griffing Park based on available funding. Jon will then coordinate with Joe Jacobs with Wright County so there isn’t any over lapping of staffing. The total expense for inspection coverage for 2016 will run around $30,000.00. This will be based on using City employees that are not level one inspectors four days a week and a level one inspector 3 days a week, as funding from the DNR/State was eliminated for 2016.
- Bill Jundt will contact the City regarding screens for the pumps to see if they have been in contact with Bolton Menk for pricing. Bill will also contact Tammy Diem for the status on the DNR/Wenck and the out flow process. Bill said he will also put a call into Brad Dewolf for revised pricing on Pulaski Ponds.
Financial Report:
- Jill Murphy reported that she did meet with Schlenner Wenner on December 15, 2015 and handed off the financials for review, and findings will be reported back to us. Jill stated that any tax filing will be done by Schlenner Wenner. Jill discussed the financial statement and expenses. The only new invoice was for Schlenner Wenner in the amount of $550.00.
